KG＋SELECTはKG＋のアワード部門として2019年に始まった公募型のコンペティションです。世界中から集まったエントリーの中から、審査員の選考により選ばれた10名のアーティストが、条件を揃えた会場を与えられ、製作費の支援を受け、1ヶ月にわたり展覧会を開催します。国際的に活躍する審査員が実際の展覧会を審査し、グランプリを選出します。グランプリに選出されたアーティストは、奨励金を受け、翌年のKYOTOGRAPHIEにて展覧会を開催します。さまざまな媒体やメディアからも注目されるKG＋SELECTは、KYOTOGRAPHIEのステップアップを経て、さらなる飛躍を可能にする展示型アワードです。

春の京都で多彩な表現と出会う

今年は100以上の展覧会が京都市内各所で開催されます。京都市内に点在する黄色い旗が目印となり、地域・来場者・作品を繋げ、新たな発見や交流を創出します。ギャラリーに限らず、カフェや寺社仏閣、屋外など様々な会場を舞台に展開されています。

KG＋からKYOTOGRAPHIEへ
可能性と飛躍のアワード

KG＋SELECT is an open-call competition launched in 2019 as the award section of KG＋. From entries submitted from around the world, ten artists are selected by the jury and given exhibition spaces under equal conditions, along with production support, to present exhibitions over the course of one month. Internationally active jurors then review the exhibitions in person and select the Award winner. The artist chosen for the KG＋SELECT Award receives a grant and is given the opportunity to present an exhibition at the following year’s KYOTOGRAPHIE. Attracting attention from a wide range of publications and media outlets, KG＋SELECT is an exhibition-based award that provides artists with the opportunity to make a further leap forward through this step toward KYOTOGRAPHIE.

The winner of the KG＋SELECT Award 2026 was Sridhar Balasubramaniyam. He will present an exhibition as one of the main programmes of KYOTOGRAPHIE 2027.

新たな地平を切り拓き
未だ見ぬ才能を発掘するアワード

KG＋ DISCOVERY Awardは、KG＋SELECTを除くKG＋の展覧会の中から優れた作家1名を選出するアワードです。世界中からクリエイターが集う写真の祭典KYOTOGRAPHIE／KG＋の開催期間に、新たな才能を発掘すること、本コンペティションを通じて写真祭を盛り上げることを目的としています。

応募書類による1次書類審査を行い、応募者の中から数名を選出。KG＋会期中に展覧会審査とプレゼンテーション審査を実施し、アワード受賞者を選出します。ディスカバリーアワード受賞者には個展開催の権利と副賞が授与され、さらなる飛躍と注目が期待されます。

KG＋ DISCOVERY Award 2026の受賞者として、鉾井喬 さん、ヴィクトワール・ティエレ さんが選出されました。
