Where R U at?
The exhibition presents five selected artists from the K-Youth Photo & Videographic Festival organized by The Society of Modern Photography & Video. Through a Generation Z perspective on landscapes in Korea and Japan, their works explore how historical and personal memories embedded in everyday life continue to shape the present.
Engaging with the trajectory of modern Korean history, the artists examine structural constraints—from the cultural aftermath of military regimes and the legacies of U.S. military presence and Japanese colonialism to issues of minority identity and the contradictions of everyday life. Together, they reconstruct the inner dimensions of contemporary East Asian experience with a critical, generational sensibility.
