An artist talk will be held featuring KG+ participating artist Momo Nakagawa and scenographer Kentaro Yamada, focusing on the relationship between artwork and space.
Nakagawa’s practice traverses the boundaries between photography, sculpture, and installation, approaching visual images not as fixed entities but as living forms in constant transformation. In this exhibition, collage works expanding across the walls resonate with sculptural pieces inspired by botanical forms, guiding viewers into the interstice between organic and artificial elements, as well as between image and space.
This talk will explore the ideas underlying Nakagawa’s practice while examining how the exhibition space was developed, incorporating the perspective of the scenographer.
