An exhibition titled “Kokū” by photographer Shouya Grigg and glass artist Takeshi Tsujino will be held at KYO AMAHARE and Sabo KYO.
What these two artists share is a deep sense of reverence for nature, and a practice of quietly projecting this sensibility into their works.

As the contours of these thoughts come to rest within the space of KYO, and overlap with the sensibilities of each visitor, we hope that an unseen sense of openness and stillness may be gently felt within.

Tea Gathering “Kokuu”

In conjunction with the two-person exhibition by Shouya Grigg and Takeshi Tsujino, opening on Friday, April 17 at Sabo KYO, we are pleased to present a special tea gathering, “Kokuu.”

Guests will be welcomed into a space arranged with works by both Shouya Grigg and Takeshi Tsujino, featured in the setting and tea utensils.

This will be a special tea gathering with both artists present in the tea room.
Please enjoy this one-day-only experience, with its unique setting and specially curated menu.
