Traces of Echoes / Breath
"Traces of Echoes・Breath" is a photographic diary documenting my three individual journeys of pregnancy.
It captures the echoes of light and voices etched in these journeys—sounds that should have vanished, yet resurface as visual images. Here, emotions are preserved as vibrations and traces in the flow of time. A voice illuminated by light: this is the resonance between my memory and feeling. Though these moments belong to history, their voices still drift in the void. Amidst the ephemeral glow of fireworks, this diary weaves a story of loss and rebirth.
Within these pages, life unfolds through cycles of unintentional loss, vital emergence, and the deliberate silence of a difficult resolve. While these experiences follow a timeline, in the depths of memory, they overlap and reconstruct. Each moment is both a beginning and an afterglow—a constant returning. Time here is not a straight line, but an intersecting rhythm of life moving through the spaces between.
The exhibition features three chapters—Echoes, Rebirth, and Return—alongside a landscape installation merging life with the cosmos. You are a witness to these events and a part of their reverberation. Through seeing and touching, I invite you to feel the faint light and breath dwelling where presence and absence meet.
