10 artists have been chosen for KG＋SELECT 2026. They will have a month-long exhibition starting from April 18. One Award Winner will be selected from these finalists, and the artist who wins the Wineer will exhibit at KYOTOGRAPHIE the following year.

KG＋SELECT

KG+ SELECT is an open-call competition established in 2019 as the award section of KG+.

From submissions gathered around the world, ten artists are selected by an international jury. Each selected artist is provided with an exhibition space under equal conditions, receives production support, and presents an exhibition over the course of one month.

The exhibitions are then reviewed by a panel of internationally active jurors, who select the Grand Prix winner. The recipient of the Grand Prix is awarded a prize and given the opportunity to present an exhibition at the following year’s KYOTOGRAPHIE.

Drawing attention from a wide range of media, KG+ SELECT serves as a stepping stone to KYOTOGRAPHIE and offers a platform for further artistic development and international exposure.
