Aftermath - A Trail of Time, Trace, and Tears
Standing at these sites where large-scale earthquakes and volcanic activities have taken place, I strain my eyes and ears to discern the passage of time. I walk slowly on these places attempting to piece together any traces of these activities that might have been obscured over long durations of time. There are several areas globally with such topographical features. The Japanese archipelago is one such place where crustal movements are concentrated due to its geological formation. I carefully glean the “aftermath,” which is presently tranquil, and visualize these specific traces, potentially envisioning any imaginable developments in the future.
