To ensure a smoother selection process and exhibition preparation, the application period for KG＋SELECT 2027 will begin earlier than in previous years. Applications will be accepted from the end of August.

KG＋SELECT is an open-call program that selects ten finalists to present their work in a group exhibition during KYOTOGRAPHIE / KG＋. During the festival, the jury visits the exhibition and selects one KG＋SELECT Award Winner, who will be invited to present a solo exhibition as part of the official program of KYOTOGRAPHIE 2028.

Each year, KG＋SELECT receives applications from artists with diverse backgrounds and practices from Japan and around the world. We look forward to discovering new perspectives and ambitious exhibition proposals in the upcoming edition.
