◾️About the Event
KYOTOGRAPHIE PHOTOBOOK FAIR 2026 was first launched in 2021 as part of KG+, a satellite event of KYOTOGRAPHIE. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the inaugural fair welcomed a large number of visitors.

The fair brings together publishers and bookstores from both Japan and abroad to showcase and sell their publications in person, creating a vibrant hub for photobooks right here in Kyoto. Our mission is to directly convey the appeal of photobooks and to foster new encounters between these works and their readers.

[Notice regarding the Second Call for Exhibitors]
Upon a careful review of this year’s venue layout, we are pleased to announce that we have been able to expand the exhibition space beyond our initial plans. In order to welcome a more diverse lineup of participants, we have decided to open a second call for applications.

◾️Application Deadline
Friday March 6, 2026, 23:59 (JST)
In the event of a large number of applications, the organising committee will conduct a selection process.
Applicants will be notified of the results by early March.
Please note that we cannot respond to individual inquiries regarding the selection results or the reasons for our decisions.

◾️Eligibility
We welcome exhibitors who focus on expression and activities centered around photobooks, including:
・Photographers
・Publishers
・Galleries
・Self-published/Independent photobook creators, and more.

◾️Exhibition Content
Sales of photobooks, photography-related art books, ZINEs, etc.

◾️Booth Details
・The second call for applications is for the Compact Type booth (900×600mm) only. This size is ideal for self-published artists and independent publishers (small presses).
・Furnishings: Two chairs will be provided per exhibitor.
・Staffing: At least one representative must be present at the booth during fair hours.
・Equipment: Please bring your own cash box, shopping bags, stationery, tablecloths, and any other necessary supplies.
・Power Supply: Information regarding the availability of power outlets will be provided at a later date.

◾️Exhibitor Fees (Tax Included)
Compact Booth (900 x 900 mm): 15,000 JPY
Payment instructions will be provided after your participation is confirmed.
*All table sizes are tentative and may be adjusted according to the final venue layout. Thank you for your understanding.

◾️Venue Information
・Wi-Fi: There is no Wi-Fi available at the venue. Please prepare your own mobile router if internet access is required.
・Waste Management: A large amount of waste is expected. We kindly ask for your cooperation in sorting and managing trash.

◾️Delivery & Parking
Parking: There is no dedicated parking at the venue. Unauthorized parking is strictly prohibited and vehicles may be towed. Short-term parking for loading/unloading is also not permitted. Please use nearby paid parking lots or coin-operated parking. The organizers cannot be held responsible for any parking-related issues or towing fees.

Shipping & Setup: Exhibitors may ship their materials in advance or bring them by hand on the designated setup day. Shipping instructions and the delivery address will be provided to successful applicants.

◾️Cancellations and Refunds
In principle, cancellations will not be accepted once your participation has been confirmed.
If an exhibitor cancels for personal reasons, the exhibition fee is non-refundable.
In the event that the fair is cancelled due to natural disasters or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), policies regarding refunds or alternatives will be announced separately.
