Burning Elephant
Burning Elephant is a film that explores the act of confronting an awe-inspiring and fearsome presence. In this work, fire functions as a symbolic entity embodying immense force and latent danger—serving as "the elephant in the room." Despite its invisibility, the presence of fire is evoked through light, shadow, and sound, compelling the audience to confront what they have long chosen to overlook. The metaphorical interplay of fire and the elephant represents personal memories, lost landscapes, and societal questions, elevating them as subjects that demand renewed recognition. By expanding the boundaries of film into a spatial experience, this work offers a visceral and immersive encounter, urging viewers to actively engage with themes they may have avoided touching upon.
