松岡克幸
Matsuoka Katsuyuki
Passing through the pine breeze
This exhibition consists of two main aspects: the artist's activities and the antique art dealer. First, by exhibiting photographs in the Zen-like space of Daitokuji Temple, we aim to express and disseminate a new state of Zen. Zen thought is a field that is closely related to bodily cognition, and its history has been passed down to the present day through written texts such as sermons and koans. This is a group of works that express the sublimation of calligraphy as a new language medium in line with the Zen art form of calligraphy, in order to express works that reflect the modern trend in which linguistic information is on the verge of a transition from text to media. The second point is the potential of found photos as a pioneer in the field of photography. The literary infatuation that emerges from collecting old photographs and delving into their personal memories negates contemporary physical photographs and aims to have a ripple effect on the modern media values that created them. The exhibition structure is designed to appeal to the viewer's perception through these two themes.
