Jinn Yagi: Celebrating Two Decades of Artistic Exploration In 2025, Jinn Yagi marks a significant milestone—the 20th anniversary of his artistic journey since his first solo exhibition in 2005. To commemorate this occasion, he will hold an exhibition at “Art Space KAN,” an art space established by renowned spatial designer Tomio Mouri. Remarkably, 2005 was also the year his mother, contemporary artist and environmental Artist Mariyo Yagi, held her solo exhibition in the same gallery. This upcoming show weaves together two decades of creative evolution, bridging generations and artistic visions. Jinn Yagi’s work transforms subjects such as minerals, landscapes, and his own paintings through photography and reinterpretation. Using a distinctive method of layering elements repeatedly, he uncovers cyclical patterns of life embedded within the details of people and objects. His art captures the eternal within fleeting moments, rendering a delicate and profound world. For this exhibition, Yagi presents a dynamic exploration of space through dimensional collages and installations. Featuring photographs from Monaco and Cannes, along with printed works reimagined into new landscapes, the exhibition invites viewers to experience a fresh perspective on the intersection of memory, time, and place.
