I live near the Kyokawa Bridge, the southernmost bridge on the Kamo River in Kyoto. When strolling along the riverbank, discarded empty cans and drifted debris can be seen. On sunny days, the surface of the metallic painted cans at the bottom of the river reflects the sunlight and shines brightly. The shape and design of the cans are transformed by the flow of the river. And colors and textures create a new image.
