SINTHOME
In this work, I will further explore the problems of [cutting and joining] and [frame parergon] that I have been using as a concept for a long time. Developed and produced. I cut a landscape photograph of a city, such as a building or an office, and arrange it by changing the top and bottom and left and right. Arrange plants, etc. By doubling it, the ambiguity of the photograph's recordability/fact and fiction/fake I made it correspond to nature and the contradiction and ambiguity of the modern unstable world and human beings. Paste patterned paper around the photo to create a picture frame as a device. By arranging them, we structured the connection between the center and the periphery. The title "Sintome" is a term used by the psychoanalytical philosopher Lacan. Reminiscent of "sympton", "saint", and "Saint Thomas". "Sintome" prevents humans from falling into madness.
