KG＋ DISCOVERY Award 2025

The KG+ DISCOVERY Award is presented to one outstanding artist from the KG+ exhibitions, excluding KG+ SELECT. Held during KYOTOGRAPHIE/KG+, a global photography festival that brings together creators from around the world, this award aims to discover new talent and further energize the festival through this competition.
A first-round document screening is conducted to select several finalists from the applicants. During the KG+ exhibition period, finalists undergo both an exhibition review and a presentation evaluation, leading to the selection of the award winner. The DISCOVERY Award winner will receive the right to hold a solo exhibition, along with additional prizes, offering them greater recognition and opportunities for advancement.
