Photography and Printmaking #02 - Immersing in boundaries, texture of light -

The exhibition "Photography and Printmaking" serves as a site of practice, continuously expanding the possibilities of expression. The theme of this second iteration is Immersing in boundaries, texture of light. Positioning themselves at the intersections where various media coexist, the participating artists create works rooted in the structural foundations of photography and printmaking.
While photography records light, printmaking materializes images into layers. Within this overlapping, reality is deconstructed into fine "particles" and reconstructed with a new "texture" (kime). Through the act of straining one's eyes during daily walks or movements—or through deliberate observation—the artists pick up blind spots and details that are often overlooked in a passing moment. These elements transcend mere documentation, transforming into unknown surfaces.
This process is a trajectory of how the body, through repeated movement and observation, perceives the distortions and layers of reality. Expressions from diverse generations, including the curation team, shake the "boundaries" from their respective coordinates to present the potential of images in our time.
