fab group PhotoExhibition 『silent perspectives』
We begin our practice by focusing on events and landscapes that exist quietly within everyday life. They are usually not given special meaning, and are consumed as part of the ordinary. Yet by subtly shifting our perspective, alternative realities and underlying structures—those connected to society and our time—begin to surface.
“Silent Perspectives” is an attempt to turn our attention toward viewpoints that have no voice, or that have long been denied one. When we look at the world, our vision is shaped by unconscious assumptions and by ways of seeing that have been formed and fixed through culture, history, and society. This exhibition quietly questions those very frameworks through which we see.
The works presented here originate from personal, everyday experiences, while deliberately distancing themselves from established values and one-directional viewpoints. By shifting perspective, they reveal multiple interpretations and overlapping realities. These photographs do not offer answers; rather, they create an open space in which each viewer is invited to reconsider their own position and way of seeing.
