Drifting smoke from Incense
Watching the incense smoke spiral upward before my eyes, I sensed that certainty, in any case, must be grounded in one’s own experience. At the same time, the persistent tension of my days—the unceasing search for stimulation—began to slowly ease. As I held my breath, my gaze was drawn more to the shifting form than to the scent. The drifting smoke, captured in a photograph, serves as a quiet invitation to pause within the flow of everyday life.
