Tai|Slowly,Slowly
The exhibition “Tai” brings together two series that emerge from the relationship between viewpoint and body as the artist places himself within a space. What is presented is not a record of events or scenery, but traces of a time before recognition—when color and contours surface slowly from the shadows. The first series, “Myopic Picnic,” adjusts distance at the pace of walking, directing the gaze toward fragments underfoot: rough textures, small depressions, subtle shifts of light and shade. The second series seeks ways of lingering in a place and engaging with it as if caressing the space, developed in parallel with the creation of the stage works Hora, Mizo, and Mo. “Tai” names an attitude: slowing the speed of passing through, and waiting for perception to shift—slowly, slowly. The exhibition is presented as a space for quietly sharing that experience.
