Art collective "MA" feat YuUKiKATAYAMA

This work is a re-enactment of the memory of flame, using video
recordings of an anagama kiln firing.
The footage and sound were recorded at the pottery site of Asato Ikeda
in Tobe, Ehime, documenting the anagama firing process.
In this exhibition, the recorded material is projected onto vessels,
allowing the textures produced by flame to emerge as perceptual
experience.
