Lift your head.
Look up the sun. Just for a little while.

The “sun” is the source of life, and it allows me to feel hope, happiness, the future, and the joy of living. “The time” I spend photographing while bathed in the sunshine is also 'a precious time′ to face my “present self” and gaze toward 'the future and hope′. It is a time to connect, through all five senses, the invisible yet existing ′something′ I feel with the inner ′waves′ of my own emotions. When I first began photographing “the sun and sunlight” around the year 2000, photography was “my language”.
And now, photographs of “the sun and sunshine” connect “myself in the past,” “myself in the future”, and “myself in present,” allowing me to travel through the “time of my life.” By accepting “pain and sorrow,” they have become the “life and salvation” necessary to live, the “strength” that opens the future, and the “color” that enriches life.

The sun continues to rise under any conditions.
