SILVER SATAN X

SILVER SATAN — A Contemporary Ark Carrying “Ze-是“(What Is Right)

Concept

For half a century, SILVER SATAN has captured the world and kept transforming.
Now, it becomes the subject—captured and fixed in return.

One art truck, seen through the eyes of six photographers—each framing it from their own perspective.

Each image is not mere documentation.
It is an act of sealing the question—“What is Ze (rightness)?”—inside the visual.

SILVER SATAN has no color.
Its plated-metal body reflects every situation and landscape—
sometimes blending in, sometimes bending light, sometimes rising as a foreign presence.

Almost all traces of the Toyota Dyna have disappeared.
It has evolved into something that escapes the category of “a vehicle.”

In the dark, blue and white lights relay, flash, and swim.
Like a fallen angel struggling and staring—
it is a device built to carry something toward the future.

SILVER SATAN is a contemporary Ark.

Statement

This project is an attempt to visualize the layered nature of perspective and the uncertainty of truth—through the existence of a single ART TRUCK.

Six photographers shoot it—each from their own place, distance, and time-space—
and each determines the format of their output.

Perspectives are not unified.
Answers are not unified.

What emerges is not a fixed meaning, but the endurance of the question itself.

For half a century, SILVER SATAN has continued to ask: What is Ze“是”?
Its body reflects the world,
is reshaped by the world,
and takes on the world’s contradictions.

Photography is fixation by light.
Yet this exhibition leaves tremor within fixation.

What is Ze“是”?
What is necessary for the future?

Each photograph does not present an answer—
each photograph opens a question.
