HOUGA - return to origin
Hoga means the beginning of something that sprouts. We take it for granted that we should pass on the good old culture, but these days we live in a time where we are acutely aware of the difficulty of passing on the good old culture to the next generation. I hope that the new initiatives that we are currently undertaking in this place will be left behind as a legacy for some time into the future. It is a place where life begins, ends, and returns, and four people who normally express themselves in different environments and in different ways will begin to communicate using photographs from their respective perspectives. This exhibition will give visitors a sense of ``budding.'' On the first floor, one simple photographic work by three people is installed as an entrance to the story. On the second floor, there will be an experiential exhibit that you can see, touch, and feel by Katsunari Shishido, who has won awards at the aforementioned unknown asia.
