The 130th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Brazil "Two Windows - Elina Yamasaki and Kenji Sakamoto Exhibition"
2025 marks the 130th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Brazil. To commemorate this, this exhibition features landscape photographs of Japan and Brazil by two photographers. Erina Yamasaki, a photographer highly praised by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto and other celebrities for her "saudade" series, which captures the other face of a land of passion captured in the lens through the window of a train in Brazil, and photographer Kenji Sakamoto, whose "Devine Colors Gods Speak Through Nature" series, which captures the beautiful scenery of the day that has been protected by the Japanese who believe that gods reside in everything and offer prayers, is a two-person exhibition. We want to look at the daily lives of Japan and Brazil from two windows on opposite sides of the earth.
