TOKINOHA
From the Kiyomizuyaki danchi complex in Kyoto, Japan, TOKINOHA presents Kiyomizuyaki ware for the good life and everyday life. Kiyomizuyaki, making things, the way of life of the makers, and the lives of the people, How can crafts and pottery become an industry that will last into the future? Photographer Masako Nakagawa captures the "now" of TOKINOHA, which continues to make vessels while repeatedly asking itself the same question in the midst of a whirlpool of drastic change, with a gentle eye for her subjects. The "TOKINOHA Ceramic Studio," where the vessels are born, will be the venue for this photographic presentation of the breath of the craftsmen and the atmosphere of Kyoto, which are inseparable from "TOKINOHA”.
