Photo Circle SKIP is a group of photographers who have been working on photographic expression since 2015. For its eighth regular exhibition, "SKIP 07," the group will present a special edition entitled "MIRRORS OR WINDOWS ?”. Since the COVID-19 crisis, it has been difficult to take new photographs due to restrictions on movement. On this occasion, SKIP has started a project called "SKIP Photobook Production Department" that reviews the works taken by each member and puts them together in one book for each member. This exhibition is positioned as an exhibition of the results of this project, and the book produced along with the photographic works will be exhibited. The key word in the creation of the book was John Szarkowski's classification of the "mirror school" and the "window school". Is our work a means of self-expression - a mirror - or a means to explore the outside world - a window-?. This will be an exhibition of works that reexamine the question together with ourselves and the third-party viewer.
