During the KG＋2026 exhibition period, as a special related program to Yuka Takasu’s exhibition at GOOD NATURE STATION 4F GALLERY, we are pleased to present the following workshops led by photographer Mai Narita and calligrapher Risa Sumino, offering participants an opportunity to experience art through light and lettering.

1. Program Overview

This program is an artistic, hands-on experience that combines the historic photographic printing process of Cyanotype (sun printing) with Western calligraphy.

Using the gentle spring sunlight, participants will create their own original works. The workshop invites attendees to explore the poetic relationship between light and text, image and language, through a refined and contemplative creative process.

2. Course Details

【Workshop ①】

Cyanotype × Calligraphy Workshop

Content:
A special collaborative session in which participants create a blue cyanotype print using sunlight and then inscribe calligraphic lettering onto the surface, merging photography and handwritten expression into a single artwork.

Time: 10:00 – 12:30 (150 minutes total)
・10:00–11:00 Cyanotype Printing (Instructor: Mai Narita)
・11:00–12:30 Calligraphy Experience (Instructor: Risa Sumino)

Capacity: 6 participants per day
Participation Fee: ¥7,700 (tax included)

Cyanotype Workshop

Content:
A workshop focused on learning the traditional cyanotype technique and creating works that express the luminous and atmospheric world of deep blue.

Time: 13:00 – 14:00 (60 minutes total)

Instructor: Mai Narita

Capacity: 6 participants per day
Participation Fee: ¥3,300 (tax included)
