Workshop on multiple exposures
ONE AND ONLY
527 Koiyama-cho, Nakagyo-ku, KYOTO 604-8163 JAPAN
This is a production workshop on multiple exposure photography from the point of view of a beginner, from the point of view of a daughter who is currently a university student and from the point of view of a parent who is a designer. These are so-called landscape photographs documenting the park. By taking pictures at different times and capturing them on one screen, the technique is not only a record, but can also capture the time, the atmosphere and even the mental landscape, either intentionally or accidentally.
In Kyoto, there are many historical landscapes, as well as landscapes that are too familiar to us and have been left out of the picture. The idea is to collect these landscapes. For example, this time we will organise a workshop for parents and children to take multiple exposure photographs under the theme of ‘windows’.
On the day, we will use a digital camera such as an IPHONE and two analogue cameras. The digital camera will be used to simulate multiple exposures, while the analogue camera will be used to take photographs, which will be developed, framed and sent to the participants at a later date.
